Fort Lily New Clothes

While Nate was away on work Lily and I were having a lazy Saturday Morning.  We went shopping on Friday night and picked up some new clothes for her. She was dragging them around the house behind her on the hangers when she stumbled upon this great idea.  Lily pulled out the bar stool put all her new clothes in there and then proceeded to climb in.  I guess it got kinda lonely in there because before you know it she got out and went to get a couple of friends to join her.

Baskets, Suitcases, Refridgerator Drawers...

We were at Grandma Janet's for Thanksgiving and I was cleaning out the fridge.  When I hear Nate say, "Lily what are you doing?!?"  I turned around to see this...

Yes that is my daughter having the time of her life in the veggie drawer and so cute!

Sitting in boxes, suitcases, laundry baskets you name it--she loves it right now.  This picture was taken when we got home from Christmas vacation and we had emptied the suitcase to do the laundry.  Who knew a suitcase was the perfect place to dine?

Now we have the ever exciting storage bin...with 2 of her Teddies of course.  Who wants to party alone?

What Happened Last Night?

Nate is in Florida this week for work so I got to get Lily out of bed this morning.  Not really sure when this happened, but I think she was ready to get out of her PJs and get ready for the day.  Her morning hair always puts a smile on my face.

First Pig Tails

I know it has been forever since I have posted and I have a lot of catching up to do since September of last year.  That just seems too daunting right now so let's just post some of the most recent photos and updates from our Lily.

Last week Nate and I went to California for 3 days for work and Lily stayed home with Jillian and Aaron.  She was doing great until Friday when a stomach bug hit her.  She couldn't keep much food down, I felt so bad for my little sweetie.  Nate and I spent a lot of time talking about what could be wrong and how to help her.  Previous to this episode she has only thrown up once.  Poor Jillian and Aaron--guess this is good practice for them.

We came home the other day to see this little girl in pig tails--where did my baby go and can she please come back!?!?!

Uncle Dave gave Lily his rocking chair for Christmas.  When he was just a little boy he was hit by a car and spent a long time in recovery.  Some of Grandma Janet's close friends made and gave this rocking chair to Uncle Dave. This is such a precious and thoughtful gift. She loves that she can get in and sit in it all by herself.  I see her in it often and usually with a Teddy.

Lily is One--Photo Shoot

These are some of the photos we had done for Lily's One Year Photos.  She was a little tired and we didn't get a lot of smiles out of her that day.  It was funny--she really has the model pout down.  She basically just kept walking around the park and Annie Flannagan just kept snapping.  I can't believe how many great shots she was able to get--here is a sampling.  The very last photo here she got while Lily was flirting with a cute boy.  Annie ran back to get it as we were leaving the park and I love it.

Easter 2011

After church Lily and Nathan had a quick modeling session in her very first Easter Dress.  It took me a long time to find but she looked adorable.  We did get some professional pictures done too that I will share later

 This one of my favorites--Peek-a-boo!

The family attended the annual Nu Skin Easter Egg hunt.  I was one of Lily's first public appearances.

Here is some video before the hunt.

And the hunt is on.  Go dad, go!

Time is Flying By...

Wow the entire summer seems to have flown by and here we are with the leaves falling off the trees and so much that I haven't updated.  Well here we go with a ton of pictures and updates from the summer.

Lily's 1 Year Old Party

We went to Deer Creek with the Johnson's and Farmer's over the fourth of July Weekend.  Lily had a great time riding on the boat, playing in the water and having a picnic lunch.

On Memorial Day Lily helped us take flowers to Gandpa Obershaw and had fun with Aunt Gwen and Aunt Cecile.
